The Czechoslovak Republic was formed on October, 1918 when the Austro-Hungarian Empire was dissoluted. In February, 1948 Czechoslovakia became a people's republic. The Czeshoslovak Soviet Socialist Republic (and koruna of CSSR) existed till January, 1990 when it was transformed into Czech and Slovak Federal Republic (CSFR). Beginning with 1993 this country finally splitted into Czech Republic and Slovakia. 1 koruna = 100 heller.
