New history of the Czech currency began in 1993, shortly after the crash of the Czechoslovakia. The banknotes of the soviet regime in czechoslovak korunas were replaced by czecho-slovak federation banknotes, and furtherly by czech banknotes, which are in circulation till nowadays. 1 koruna = 100 heller.
